There are persons for whom fashion is equal to frivolity. For me, fashion is more than that: it is
a way of expression. It is a way to make art that is within the reach of all of us. Like the painters and sculptors work with several materials and play with colors and textures, each of us can make art
with the colors and textures of our wardrobes.
To dress ourselves takes part of every single day of our lives.
Every morning,in front of shelves and drawers, we are a little like artists.
Each piece of our wardrobe is like a word and we create poetry when combining them.
The objective of my work is to achieve that, as it happens with a good poem, that combination might
touch and never leave indifferent those to whom it is directed.
My name is Ariana Riccio and I was born in Buenos Aires.
I was always interested in fashion; I have taken many courses on the subject and I keep studying
because there is always something new and interesting to learn.
In addition, I studied Sciences
of Communication at University of Buenos Aires, and those years of study were very enriching
because they allowed me to approach the subject of fashion from a wider perspective.
Throughout that study route, I met several persons who shared that passion for fashion.
Nowadays, those people and me dedicate ourselves to help our clients to understand the language of fashion.
Our clothes (and the accessories which accompany them) create
a language that allow us to speak without needing to say a single word. That language contains
in itself two possibilities: to be an opaque language or a transparent language...
Fashion is something playful and, when we understand its language, we can have as much fun as we propose to...
